In terms of love, who is the wiser, those who continue to have relationships after being hurt....or those that stay away from relationships because they were hurt.

Is it wiser to be hopeful and take the chance of being hurt....or is it wiser to curl into a ball and protect yourself.

They say being wise comes with age, I disagree, youth means hope and open-mindedness....that's about as wise as I think it comes....innocence.

It terms of the poem, there's obvious rhyme's, this is pretty much the first draft as it's come out of my head bar abit of structure tweaking so I apologise if it's rubbish. The theme of love and the word loves crops up a few times as that is the main theme but with the idea of being wise obviously other themes are incorporated aswell.

Before I leave you to read the poem, I ask you this, at 18 we are often told that we are not wise in love, we are not old enough to understand love or get married....but we're allowed to go to war, hold a weapon and kill a man. So since when has there been an age limit on being wise enough to accomplish certain things?
