The Last Journey Of An Anorexi by ~Broadcraig:iconBroadcraig:

The Last Journey Of An Anorexic

Truffles float like jellyfish helmets
Forming a skin over the waves of a chocolate dessert,
Picturesque loneliness; Fighting for a part.
Wicker baskets caked in apple pie covered in flies
Their last meal before a trip to Paris
(We died before we had a chance to finish)

This is jolted and disfigured like I feel right now. Obviously this has eating references, journey references, references to being alone and references to dying.

Take it as you will.

Enjoy.

Interesting.
Yet poetic.

A strong flow in this one. It subtly suggests the theme, until the eventual realization of the reader. Not necessarily of the theme, but the story behind the poem and the bitter feeling of suffering.

It leaves a sour taste in your mouth, but certainly gets your brain thinking of the possibilities and stories to be told. Well done, excellent work. Though I'd expect no less from you, that's for sure.

I kinda hope it makes up for my lack of commenting. :P Sorry about that, I do sift through your new works; honest. Life's just had me on a fairly tight leash as of late; it's hard to spread out and comment on everyone's stuff. One day, one day school will be done and I'll catch up. XD
Please don't be offended by my lack of activity; I think your works are excellent and breath taking none the less. :)

That's okay, you don't have to comment or read everything I do, there has to be a life outside of this monitor.

There is?!? :ohnoes: Why has no one told me?!
But in all seriousness, I always feel bad when I know I've been neglecting comments (in fact, I should be doing homework now...) or just not commenting as much as I'd like. Though I try to make up with it by making my comments more meaningful and in depth; compared to the many two-dimensional comments I see around dA (no offense to anyone!). Hopefully it does make up for it in the end. :XD:

Ahh, this one makes me think I'm traveling, or in motion, something like that, but no matter where I go, death is imminent. I like it:).
